Praise God for salad joints, it is no longer a chore trying to eat healthy . Healthy is now synonymous with delicious and you have a plethora  of creative  nutritious meals to choose from.

"Our motto is EAT WIDE AWAKE.
Simply put we want to change the way people think about their food...
We want everyone to wake up to the fact that  you are what you eat...

Founded in 2009, they currently have stores all over asia including  Singapore, Hongkong, Indonesia, Japan, Spain, Korea and  soon in Vietnam and Malaysia.

Their ingredients are fresh and you can choose from either salad or wrap.

I have been to about 3 branches of Salad Stop to date. My first try was at their Rockwell branch. I loved the open kitchen type like a buffet if you will. The different colors of  vegetables and greens are a sight to behold.

Yesterday, the family was   at BGC walking our beagle Luna.   The hubby and I were also trying to reach our 10k steps daily goal. Pretty soon we were hot , sweaty and ravenous. It was time for lunch.

Good thing there was Salad Stop near Rustans. Wouldnt want to waste those calories burned by eating something high in calories and cholesterol right.

Went in the restaurant and was quite pleased how spacious it was with a green and yellow theme. Went directly to the lady under the sign "order". There was no queue so I took my time choosing. It was a bit confusing. I seem to like everything in the menu. So I told the lady I wanted something with avocado and she narrowed it down for me to 3 choices - Oh Crab Lah,  Big Bird or Tuna San. I chose Tuna San

Tuna San P375
Romaine, seared tuna, avocado, edamame,  cherry tomatoes,  mandarin oranges
sesame seeds, wasabi honey soy (540 kcal/620 kcal )

I loved how fresh and green the romaine were. The seared tuna was fresh and delicious. The cherry tomatoes were red and beautiful. If  I were to nit pick though, I would have preferred fresh oranges instead of the sweetened mandarin oranges.  The wasabi honey soy dressing was sweet  and flavorful just the way I prefer it.

Health is wealth. Ultimately we only have one vessel in our lifetime. It is up to us to take care of it. We are what we eat.
