If  like me you love your meat specially the fall-off-the-bone kind, you will like it here at SLABBERS .


Per owner  Earl Chua,  SLABBERS came from two words.

SLAB - noun. Usually a thick chunk of solid object, in this case meat or more specifically ribs.
SLOBBER -  A verb which means to drool or to salivate copiously

SLABBER   is a combination of two delicious words that evoke visions of  drooling over chunky juicy meat


Two words -- RIBS AND WINGS.

Since they are still in their soft opening being only 3 weeks old at HOLE IN THE WALL at CENTURY MALL,   they are building variants and flavors as we speak.

Today, we enjoyed, savored and slobbered over  the following :

RIBS AND WINGS COMBO DOUBLE (good for 2 persons) P495 - Tender, juicy fall off the bone baby back rib ( 4 bones) and 6 pcs buffalo wings  with choice of  Kansas sauce or Smoky Glazed Memphis with two sides  and a choice of blue cheese or garlic aioli for dipping .

                  KANSAS RIB  VARIANT 
ribs were sweet and  flavorful and were fall off the bone

                  MEMPHIS  RIB VARIANT  
wet rub evident. There was a hint of acidity and  smokiness.

                  TEXAS  RIB VARIANT 
 tasted like the combination of both Kansas and Memphis

                   GARLIC PARMESAN WINGS - Wings were succulent and juicy. Love the flavor
                   CLASSIC BUFFALO - I tasted the sweetness. Paired well with the blue cheese
                   HOT WINGS - For those who love a bit of a kick on their wings , these are for you.
                   SMOKED WINGS -  The texture was crunchy with the aroma of smokiness

SIDES - Choose among any of the following :

Broccoli and cheese - Broccoli florets were crunchy and fresh.  I loved how the verdant green of this vegetable was complented quite beautifully by the rich yellow color of the cheese.

Home-made coleslaw - Sweet just the way I like it, It paired well with the ribs.

Sweet Potato Fries - I love that it made me feel guiltless eating it.

Mac & Cheese with Bacon - This is one sinful carbo and fat loaded dish.

Corn and Carrots - Loved the butter used

Pickled Fries - Something new, it was a delight biting into it and finding it crunchy and sweet-sour.

Deep Fried Green Beans - Another green element to wipe out that guilt feeling in over indulging on those fall off the bone ribs. Those French Beans were crunchy and flavorful

Pork and Baked Beans - Another favorite, I loved how sweet and savory the beans were.  The bacon in the dish is the secret ingredient. Now you know hehe


The wings were fat, succulent and moist. The ribs were really fall-off -bone. The 3 sauces  ie Kansas, Memphis and Texas were delicious and so were the  blue cheese, ranch and garlic aioli dip. The sides were filling and scrumptious as well.

The quality of the ingredients were top notch. The price to portion ratio was fair and almost generous.  

Slabbers is located at Hole in the Wall 4th level of Century Mall. Think posh food court. The area is huge . The  interior is hip, predominantly wood with a mix of  plain cement and colorful tiles for  floor.  The place invites you to just chill, relax and linger while enjoying the plethora of food choices available at your fingertips. I love that the selection of the restaurants are not your usual suspects one sees in huge malls.

If you prefer to be outdoors, you can relax at one of the tables outside with a view of Poblacion

This mom of 4 kids collectively called The Piggery. is replete and satisfied. Definitely returning with the piggery in tow.

SLABBERS is located at the 4th level of Century Mall in Kalayaan Avenue Poblacion Makati. They are open from 11 am onwards. They are still in soft opening though and would appreciate your feedback re food and service.
