Tasty Love’s Sharkfin Dumpling

“Eat breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Prince and dinner like a pauper….”

I take this to heart. So I eat all I want during the first meal of the day which is anytime after my morning run at our patio. It is not a big patio. So it takes me around 100 revolutions before I achieve my goal  or I turn dizzy sa kakaikot whichever comes first haha.

Yes, I’m on ITF for most of the pandemic. I’m losing  weight slowly which I  actually like. 4 kilos over 6 months is just about right for me.

Anyway, I digress.  Where was I?  Correct, brunch, or breakfast.

If you follow me on IG, you would notice immediately that most of my post is about breakfast or brunch. I go all out sans guilt  and eat all types of silog paired with whatever left-over dinner the night before with my morning coffee (Waste not want not). After all, I  have several hours to burn it all during the day. This would be the first time though I had ready-to-cook dim sum for breakfast.

I received this package of shark fin dumpling from Tasty Love. Raring to give it a go, I had it for brunch some days back. It is only P350 for 24 pcs.

What I loved about it was how chunky and meaty the mouthfeel was.  It paired well with my fried rice, tomato, and sunny side up.  Quite enjoyed this dimsumsilog with my coffee.

The downside was they were all clumped together in the freezer so much so that when I steamed the whole lot, it looked like this one huge blob of dumplings. At any rate, its taste and texture more than made up for the presentation.
