Holy Crab's delectable crabs & shrimps made our anniversary special

I just stumbled into @theholycrabph in IG while looking for options for food delivery for a very important milestone.

We were supposed to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a romantic trip outside the country but  Covid19 happened. So stuck at home but grateful to be healthy together what better way to toast another year of wedded bliss by pigging out with the family.

It has been a while since our crab adventure. The last one was a disaster with practically everyone ending up with food poisoning on Christmas.

So ordered the following a couple of weeks ago...

2 Signature Butter Garlic Crabs and Shrimp Platter  that includes 1 kilo Crab and 400 grams Shrimps eachP1399 X 2 and

1 Signature Butter Garlic All Shrimp Platter 1 kilo  P999

To put it succinctly,  our family of 8 including the 84 y/o grandpa and 75-year-old retired-and-on-vacay-Yaya had a feast.

The crabs were fat, meaty, and fresh! The corn on the cob was sweet and crunchy. The shrimps were cooked perfectly so it remained succulent.  The butter-garlic sauce was rich and delicate enhancing the flavor of the seafood.

The delivery was on point. The packaging was neat and efficient. I loved that in addition to the aluminum foil there was an additional layer of cling wrap to seal the items in and to avoid spillage.

The ordering was simple just a DM on their Instagram account is all you need. A little caveat though. They are really popular so I suggest you book like a week ahead of your event to make sure you get your desired items.

Price? Considering the quality of their crabs and shrimps, The Holy Crab Ph was worth every peso we spent on it. Asked where they source their crabs,  they told us they were from Bulacan. The only fly in the ointment so to speak was I forgot to request them to crack the claws for us but I'm nitpicking.

Beautiful and scrumptious crabs and shrimps, neat packaging,  stress-free ordering. What's not to love?

Looking forward to tasting their Creamy Salted Egg Crab or Thai Coconut Curry variant on our next order. The first son's birthday is fast coming up.
