Here's why Paper Moon Cafe's Cheese Tarts are here to stay

Originally from Tokyo, Paper Moon Cafe landed on our shores five years ago in August 2015 and currently has thirteen branches all over the city.

I have always been in awe of Paper Moon Cafe and Madam Kazuko Emy Wada's signature original Mille Crepe or Crepe Cake.  It is a world-famous creation that is a result of  French artistry in pastry combined with the Japanese drive for perfection.

That is why I have this mindset that anything that comes out of  Paper Moon Cafe's kitchen is nothing less than sensational.  A classic example is their Cheese Tart. Its plain and 'austere' appearance belies a texture and taste that can make your eyes roll with rapture with just a bite.

The hype for Cheese Tart had come and gone but Paper Moon's version is here to stay and remains a staple in the store...

Last Mother's Day, it was a delightful surprise to receive a box of these yummy treats via Food Panda Ph. It was a simple blue and white box that ensconced six pieces of sinfully silky cheese enveloped by what tasted like luxurious and rich butter shortbread crust.

For P210 for 3 pcs, it was unbelievably affordable considering its pedigreed creators.

Check them out and let me know what you think.
