It's a Saturday and day 35 of being in quarantine. The handsome hubby and I have not been out of the house since March 22. While he and two of the piggery work from home, I rule the kitchen and menu planning that is a requisite to the task.
Kitchen fatigue is an inevitable outcome when you cook for 7 people 3-5 x a day. So food deliveries are a saving grace once or twice a week. Today, we had Burger King deliver our dinner. Yay!
I ordered my favorite Whopper Jr and 4 piece chicken nuggets. Did not realize how much I missed BK until my first mouthful of whopper jr. Simple joys and pleasure made more precious by having the whole family together sharing the meal.
Good food, value for money, what's not to love? This mom-of-4 is simply happy for the brief respite from cooking duties haha.
