'Sakura Hanami takes your taste buds on a journey to Japan's exquisite cherry blossom season'
It was not hard to imagine as the Land of the Rising Sun is a favorite destination of the family. Experiencing Sakura Hanami for the first time though was not through a visit to one of their branches, but through delivery.
No matter, the site of that festive box of colorful donuts and the caramel cake ensconced in a golden tin gives a glimpse of what I was missing.
Blooming Bites , a charming collective moniker for their donuts and cakes , did not disappoint. They were as adorable as they were tasty.
My favorite would have to be the caramel cake though. Reminiscent of a local iconic patisserie , the chiffon cake were as fluffy as expected and the butter-caramel frosting scrumptious.
