Five culinary graduates got together for the very first MEATSUMO PREMIUM franchise.
Meatsumo Premium Panay opened eve of Chinese New Year and is the 5th branch of a homegrown brand which began in UST some 12 moons back
Last week, we tried their regular samgyup at P549 which included 6 kinds of beef (bulgogi, gochuchang, spicy plain, pepper and yakiniku) , 5 kinds of pork and 23 sides which you can enjoy to your heart's content.

What PigOutSundays Loved?
In the sea of Korean BBQ restaurants that describes the metro, Meatsumo Premium although local stood out for me because of their quality premium meats and their 23 sides which I can enjoy for only P549. It does not hurt that the restaurant is new and has an appealing red and black theme that is vibrant and inviting. The place looks spacious and pristine making this mom of 4 excited to try out their food. My favorites were the marinated beef and pork which I dipped into their delicious made-from-scratch premium sauce. Free flowing iced tea is included in the price plus soft serve ice cream.
Note that credit card payment will be available soon. In the meantime, cash is much appreciated. They actually just opened their lunch service last week. Previously they were just open for dinner.

Chef Nathan (part owner) shares that hopefully by March or earlier Meatsumo Premium will offer diners their higher tier option which will include angus wagyu, salmon belly, kurobota. Ala carte which you can add to your Samgyup is an option that will be coming out soon as well. Watch out for it.
