Manam'ed it Last Sunday

Manam'ed - verb. Past tense.
To  pigout on Manam  food (piggingoutonsundays glossary)

It was the easiest choice last Sunday. Everyone in the family had a simultaneous hankering not just for Pinoy food but for Manam in particular.

Found ourselves at Power Plant again after  hearing mass at Colegio San Agustin in Makati.

By 11-1130 we were famished. So there we were waiting for our turn to go to the restaurant and for our name to be called. The place was packed.

A few minutes later they had the table for 7 prepared for us.

Ordered a lot. My favorites are

Now that is one gorgeous bowl of lugaw.  You have eggs, chicharon, seaweed, chicken, etc. It was piping hot when they delivered to our table.

Crispy Pork Binagoongan  Small P205 Medium P360 Large P645  Potluck P1650 was a winner too. The portion was a bit small  There are varying sizes you can choose from though

Of course I asked IG handsome hubby to take a photo. That was my only chance for a flatlay shot before the piggery attacks haha.

Now you know why I cooked Gising Gising Small P125 Medium P210 Large P370 Potluck P655
Its a family favorite. Manam's sigarilyas are crunchy and green. It is so easy to overcook them. I would have wanted mine swimming in a pool of gata.

Lamb Adobo? Small P275 Medium P520 Large P985 You have to hand it to bunso to be extra adventurous when it came to his order. I did not even know I was eating lamb until they told me so. No gamey or weird aroma or flavor. Quite scrumptious actually

Overall,  I would not be surprised if Manam is top of mind of everyone when it comes to Pinoy food. It offers both classic and tweaked favorites at flexible sizes. Very clever.

Feeling adventurous? Order their classics with a twist.

Loyal to beloved-favorites? Select from the traditional Pinoy dishes.

Moreover no food is wasted because you  even have a say as to how big you want your portions - small, medium, large and even potluck!

Perfect!

Can not wait to return to Manam soon.
