It was an auspicious day last November 19 as King Chef celebrated 3 milestones in one day.
On its 7th year anniversary, King Chef opened its 7th branch at Ayala Malls Manila Bay and launched its 7th King Chef Challenge at the Activity Center of the mall.
The tension and excitement was palpable as we await to taste the wonderful new creations of 3 groups of chef finalists in the much awaited annual competition.
It was my first time to judge a competition along with the audience and it was a tough one. Each group served delicious creations that were pleasing to the eye and the palate.
But there can only be one Grand Prize Winner and that honor was won by Group 1 composed of Chef
Chef Ronald Asay and Chef Melvin Sumakdon who walked away with P20,000.00 check each plus Lee Kum Kee package , for their entry below ...
Golden Tower with Plum Glazed Chicken
Chicken was plump , succulent and flavorful. A result of the combination of Lee Kum Kee's Oyster Sauce, Plum Sauce, Hoisin Sauce, Chicken Marinade, Liquid Seasoning and Japanese Soy to name a few.
