Just like the milk tea craze, looks like the Pinoys' love for Korean BBQ shows no signs of abating any time soon .
The lure of UNLIMITED PORK, BEEF & CHICKEN priced affordably just strikes too strong a chord in the sulit-mentality ( value-for-money) that is inherent in most of us. Thus when presented with the all-you-can-consume-meat and unli sides or banchan in Korean parlance , we can not help but grab the opportunity any where we find it.
Take Gogiya Korean Restaurant for example. They offer unli Korean BBQ for only P549. Did you know that the word Gogi means all kinds of meat in Korean? The last syllable Ya is just an expression like our di ba.
Gogiya Korean Restaurant is not actually new having been opened since October 2017. The mere fact that it is still standing almost 3 years later is I assume testament to the quality of meat they are serving with their unli promo . This we got to find out first hand a couple of days ago.
Last Tuesday together with some foodie friends, we tried and enjoyed their Unli Korean Bbq P549.
Both their marinated meat and unflavored ones are quite good. It is evident in the color and the texture of the proteins that they are of good quality.
What PigOutSundays loved about Gogiya are the following....
good quality meat
good quality rice
delicious japchae
affordable price
Korean owner
Service needs improvement though with dare I suggest more happy looking servers?
Gogiya is easy to locate just mention Cliff Point in CW Depot .
Definitely returning with the handsome hubby and piggery in tow.
