Thinking of going somewhere special to celebrate the holidays? Look no further. Check out Shangrila at The Fort #wheretheholidayscomealive.
Christmas is just around the corner and I have commanded my inner-health-guru to hightail it to Timbuktu for the remainder of the year. What an exciting month to indulge in scrumptious food and Shangrila at The Fort is always top of mind when it comes to exceptional offerings.
Canton Road , where Traditional meets Modern
Named after an iconic road in Hongkong, Canton Road seamlessly combine the traditional heirloom cooking method with modern presentation. Think delicious "Cuisine with a touch of Huaiyang, a regional cuisine highlighting the Chef's masterful knife skills"
Those Australian bivalve mollusks were fat, plump and succulent and so were the prawns which were cooked perfectly. The green slices of asparagus provided the crunch and nuttiness perfectly synchronizing with the caramelized walnuts to contrast beautifully with the savory xo'd scallops and crustacean.
Gorgeously presented and sans any meat, this dish will be perfect for the discerning foodie who are perpetually watching what they eat ( like me). Yes the word healthy comes to mind. My inner health guru who is currently in the middle of nowhere will be pleased.
Definitely returning with the handsome hubby and the piggery in tow.
See you there!
Canton Road is located at the third level West Wing Shangrila at The Fort 30th Street corner 5th BGC Taguig
