Red Jade, indeed those  two words evoked images of opulence  and  diverse culinary delights!

It did not disappoint. Greeted by the sight  of a predominantly crimson  and gold theme,  the interiors of the restaurant  echoed the elegance of  Manila Hotel  (the Grand Dame of all Hotels in the country) with its very own uniqueness. After all the cuisine is Chinese therefore thematic.

Jade was prized for its hardness, durability, musical qualities, and beauty. In particular, its subtle, translucent colors and protective qualities caused it to become associated with Chinese conceptions of the soul and immortality. With gold, it was considered to be a symbol of heaven - Wikipedia

Old World,  first adjective that came to mind. Think dynasties and emperors. Rich-deep-blood-red and gold against the backdrop of walls of  ancient jade bas relief  which we were told were hundreds of years old. I did not even know there were various hues of  Jade

Round tables were decked out in off-white linen with two kinds of chopsticks on the side. Crisp table napkin in fan-like arrangement sat atop plates complemented by the deep red water goblet and white demitasse.

Private  rooms are available for exclusive functions in the inner sanctum of the  sprawling restaurant.

It  is quite understandable how patrons can easily be intimidated by the fine dining set up. But  you will be glad to know that Red Jade   offers its Dimsum All You Can  daily during lunch at an affordable-value-for-money,  P988  nett

Thus giving you a sneak preview if you will of Red Jade's  top notch food and excellent service.
