I have only experienced Rambla once when the handsome hubby and I went for a date at its Rockwell branch some moons back.
It was an enjoyable food adventure one we would have preferrred to do a repeat of but somehow got distracted by newer restaurants that seem to sprout like mushrooms all over the metro.
At any rate, it came as a wonderful surprise that we can now enjoy Rambla at the Grid Food Market at Power Plant Mall.
Last week , per an invite from a foodie friend, I got to discover Rambla anew on a more casual level...
Loved their chorizo. It was meaty, flavorful and paired well with the fruity sangria.
Those crunchy Calamares Andaluzia P290 were quite addicting. Reminiscent of fish and chips, the dish was presented on a paper cone with lemon and creamy dip on the side.
The Sisig Croquetas were a delight. It was a joy that they created a much loved local dish into a croqueta
Those Gambas were perfectly cooked and succulent. If only it was served with freshly baked bread on the side to soak and absorb all that yummy sauce in.
Overall, if you love Spanish cuisine you will love Spanish by Rambla. I can not wait to bring the handsome hubby and the piggery here to try out the rest of the tapas and pintxos in the menu.
Prices are not bad either starting at P150. Do order their gambas, croquettas, etc with their refreshing Sangria.
Spanish by Rambla is Stall no 8 at The Grid Food Market at Power Plant Mall
