A popular Louisiana dish, Southern Grind's Jambalaya P428 is a bright red with chunks of fat chorizo and succulent Cajun-seasoned shrimps. Think Paella but more tomatoey and a bit more saucy.
Country Fried Steak P398 had amazingly crispy exterior but retained the moistness of the sirloin steak inside. Home-made gravy and mashed potatoes were scrumptious sides you cant help but spoon in your mouth again and again
Can not get over Southern Grind's Wood Smoked USDA Premium St. Louis cut Pork Ribs . Choose from Quarter with 2 sides P369, Half P680 with 3 sides and Whole P1299 with 4 sides.
Ribs were fat, meaty , flavorful and fall-off-the-bone. Suggest you order cups of rice for this.
Overall, a delightful afternoon spent with friends enjoying Southern Grind's delicious offering. I highly recommend you order their Steak, Ribs , Jambalaya and Crispy Fried Steak. Their USDA Prime Grade Ribeye Steak is P195 per oz. Although a little thicker than our familiar tapa, this thinly sliced steak was nevertheless quite delicious ( fat and all)
I can not wait to return with the piggery and the handsome hubby in tow.
Southern Grind Bistro is located at Forbeswood Heights Burgos Circle BGC Taguig
