It was my first time in Six Doors Buffet in Uptown BGC. A relative was celebrating a great milestone and the whole clan was invited.
The buffet was a combo of Kbbq, yakiniku, sushi, sashimi and Chinese dishes. There was unlimited beer, moscato, red wine, juices, etc.
Dinner is P999 per person.
Think Vikings but with Korean BBQ.
Quantity-wise, SIX DOORS BUFFET seem to have everything you can think of in a buffet spread.
Quality-wise however, it needs room for improvement. I can not help but notice that the Salmon sashimis were cut haphazardly ie they looked like different shapes and of tthickness of triangles instead of being elegantly and uniformly sliced with much thought and precision. Raw mussels look tired and ready to go to bed. Ebi tempura had thick batter. Pizza looked store-bought.
It was not all negative however.
What PigOutSundays loved...
Service. Its like having our own butler in the person of Kevin. It was just him against 30 of us and we were all really demanding albeit sweetly and cheerfully. Kevin was the personification of patience and efficiency. We commend him for a job well done.
Kbbq or was it Yakiniku. SIX DOORS had my handsome hubby and piggery smacking their lips with all-the-protein-they-can-eat
Moscato/Wine/Beer/Juices. All the Moscato I can drink ? Yes Im in haha. The boys loved their beer too
Seafood. Think Dampa. Just gave my plate of fat, fresh shrimps and requested garlic with butter and it came back hot and with gorgeous pinkish succulent shrimps. Definitely made me forget about the lot of sorry-looking mussels.
Overall...
A nice place to bring the friends and family in. You just need to manage your expectations. Do mind the slippery floors too.
Buffet with unli Kbbq, paluto, sushi and sashimi, all-the-beer-wine-juices-you-can-drink for P999? Why not? Go for it.
Check them out and let me know how it turned out for you.
