Alba's was the second to the last stop of a 9-restaurant-4-adventure-crawl sponsored by the Ortigas Malls in collaboration with the online group Let's Eat Pare, last August 22.
It was my second time at this branch. My first visit was last almost 6 months ago ( see blog post below) and an opportune time too as I have been craving Alba's paella, cochinillo , canonigo, lengua to name a few.
I had to leave early though but not before I tasted what I perceived to be the 'amuse bouche'. A delectable roll of succulent mango wrapped in prosciutto called Jamon con Mangga Y Arugula and the star of the night the Paella Valenciana... scrumptious.
Do not forget to scrape the soccarat aka tutong at the bottom of the pan. That is my favorite part of the paella where all the flavors are concentrated.
Check out their daily lunch or dinner buffet to get your Spanish Cuisine fix.
