Thank you @johnbunag for the photo |
Was privileged to have been invited to Sunrise Buckets' 10th anniversary bash last July 24 at their Power Plant Mall branch along with other bloggers, foodies and friends.
Quite timely too because I have been curious about the brand but have not found the time to try it.
Did you know ?
- Sunrise Buckets started as a 2x3 booth in Rockwell Moonlit Bazaar way back in 2008.
- From starting out with just two flavors ( Sunrise Original and Peppered), they now have 25 mouthwatering sauces.
- Abigail and Bridget are the owners
- Sunrise Buckets very first branch was in Madison Square North Greenhills. It was followed by their branch at The Grove Rockwell,
- In 2015, they opened their Burgos Circle branch
- 2017 saw them opening their Power Plant branch
- 2018 saw them inaugurating their 4th branch in Santolan Town Plaza

Bridget (owner) and author |
From Bridget (owner)...
When asked why their named their resto Sunrise Buckets? Bridget had this to say,
"Sunrise new beginnings , positive energy. Buckets because we serve by the buckets . Bucks is you know money so its good luck charm...we have 8 rays in our logo. 8 is infinity"
Asked how she would describe Sunrise Buckets' food ....
"We share the travels of the world here . All of our ingredients are mouthwatering and authentic.
Happy place with music , vibe, ambiance for everyone..."
Overall..
With chicken wings trending in the metro currently, it is nice to discover tried and tested brands with a track record of more than a decade.
From humble beginnings in 2 x 3 booth some 10 years ago to 4 branches all over the metro currently, one can not help but admire these 2 beautiful sisters and their passion to continuously grow their food business while helping the less fortunate on the side.
If only for that, I will be a regular customer of Sunrise Buckets. But it does not hurt that they do serve mouthwatering chicken in 25 flavors. Well they would not last a decade if their chicken is not that good right?
But do not take my word for it. Visit a branch nearest you and tell me how it turned out for you.
