Gorging on Sushi and Sashimi at Watami

5 kinds sashimi

There is nothing more  captivating to this foodie-mom-of-4 who loves Japanese food than  a spread that is all about  sushis and sashimi.

It has been a while since my last food trip at the MOA branch of Watami and I was excited to try their new along side classic best selling  sushi rolls.

Salmon Taco Aburi
The contrast of  crispy salmon skin  and the  torched creamy salmon was amazing. I think I can finish an order of this all by my lonesome haha

Tuna Tartare
Nothing like fresh cubed tuna with special sauce

That Salmon California Maki  was scrumptious. Loved that ebiko on top. The usual mango-cucumber-crabstick is inside.
King Dragon Roll  is one among many delicious and best selling sushi that the family loves at Watami. Honestly just put salmon or uni in any of the sushi variants and you got us. We are easy. We simply love salmon.

Overall,  Watami   is "walang kupas" in local parlance. It literally means "never fades" or never grows old. For our family, everytime we find ourselves in Watami,  we are seldom disappointed. Clearly the restaurant's strength lies  in their sushi and sashimi variants.

Last May 24, they opened their newest branch at Ayala  North Exchange Legaspi Village Makati.

Watami    is part of  The Bistro Group that has in its roster notable brands that are favorites of the family like  Italianni's, Friday's, Village Tavern, Red Lobster, Texas Roadhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings to name a few. We have yet to try Baker & Cook, Fish & Co, Modern Shanghai, Bulgogi Brothers, The Helm and Savage.

PROMO ALERT!

The 50% off  every Saturday from 12noon to 2pm  is back for Citi Credit Card users. Please go to their website for more details.
