I can not help but still wax poetry over that alimango we had last week at Red Crab in Shang Mall. Meaty, succulent and flavorful, that CRAB BIHON transported me to memories of summer past spent in beaches with the view and smell of the sea.
The Bihon was like a sponge absorbing all the sinful essence of the crab sauteed in butter and garlic. Such a simple concoction really, the huge fresh crustacean was the star of the show
The Inasal Plate of Bangus and Chicken are nothing to sneeze at either. The Bangus or Milk Fish was crisp and perfectly seasoned providing a good contrast to the whole chicken which was delightfully juicy, moist and delicious.
The grilled vegetables on the side were the perfect foil to the proteins rounding up the flavors together
See that beautiful claw? That was a fat, plump and juicy claw that did not need a dip .
The Calamari Squid Ink Pasta was unforgettable as well. Get ready for a black smile after though . Dont forget to take a selfie haha
Seafood Medley was a wonderful mix of shrimps, squid, tanigue, mussels etc. The broth alone is "ulam na". Easy enough to overcook the shrimps, but fortunately our shrimps were cooked just so to be amazingly enjoyable. Mussels were on the thin side almost non existent sadly but was more than made up for by the scrumptious slices of squid.
Overall, I can not wait to fly to Lio Beach in El Nido Palawan just to enjoy the sea breeze and the beautiful waters while indulging in the delicious fare of RED CRAB ALIMANGO HOUSE LIO
But while that remains a dream for now, I can just go to RED CRAB ALIMANGO HOUSE in Shang Mall when the craving for crabs and seafood hits.
