Wary and weary of Korean BBQ places with low prices but low quality meats ?
Check out Daraejung Korean Kitchen in BGC, where meats are not frozen and( based on their color and cut obviously ) of premium quality
Daraejung is a Korean word which means a place where people go or hang out.
It is not an international franchise from Korea however. Although it is homegrown, its owners are Korean.
Their first branch opened somewhere in Macapagal some three years ago. This branch in BGC opened late last year.
Check out what we enjoyed last week.
Called Set B , this set menu includes beef loin, boneless, ribs, LA style Beef Ribs and Marinated Beef Ribs all for P2200
What is noteworthy about this ala carte set, is how tender and juicy the proteins were. The meat look fresh and cut beautifully and tasted delicious.
An order of this can be shared by 2-4 people. You would have to order rice on the side though as they are not included in the P2200 price tag. Banchan however are unlimited. Watch out for some choices though as they may be a tad spicy.
Overall, amidst all the Korean BBQ joints that sprouted like mushrooms in all corners of the metro, Daraejung Korean Kitchen stands out for their quality meat.
It is not unlimited, but you will be won over by the generous portions and the quality of the meat served.
If the Korean patrons are any indication , then you are in for an authentic Korean feast.
Check them out and let me know how it turns out for you.
