COFFEE PROJECT

Thank you @johnbunag for the fab flatlay

The handsome hubby and I love breakfast. It is the only time of the day we can eat to our heart's  content without worrying about weight gain. After all, you have the rest of the day to burn all those sinful stuff you consumed

Naturally, HH and I gravitate towards breakfast buffet places or coffee shops. A favorite haunt of ours is COFFEE PROJECT

A couple of weeks back, I was lucky enough to be invited to enjoy  some of  their scrumptious meals plus their summer drinks ...

Chicken Tocino with rice

Loved the perfect balance of  sweet and savory. Chicken tocino was sweet and delicious and paired well with the salty sunny side up

Caramelized Spam in cubes

A genius of an idea to cube the spam and dust with sugar before frying. No need to buy the Spam Tocino variant for this. The original spam would do plus brown sugar...yum!

Smoked  Fish Pasta P265

Daing Pasta? Why not? The spaghetti was al dente. The flavor of the smoked fish was  spot on.

For dessert, we were served several cakes but there were a couple which were memorable for me...

Langkasuy Cheesecake,

Salted Caramel Cheesecake and

Sweet Potato
I already experienced the best selling Salted Caramel Cheesecake previously. Think Leche flan but denser. I loved it.

The Langkasuy was a new one for me. I was looking for more Langka flavor.

The Sweet Potato is a favorite. Love the silky texture of the sweet potato that has probably condensed milk in it. So satisfying.

Matcha Green Tea Frappe with Rock Salt n Cheese
Php200/Grande, P215/Project
Mint Mojito Iced Coffee with or without Cream
Wild Berry with Rock Salt n Cheese both P180/Grande, P195/ Project

Bulletproof Coffee P190/Tall, P195/Tall with Cream.

Im not a fan of their Mint Mojito Iced Coffee. I can not make heads nor tails with it. The topsy turvy mix of flavors  left me confused.

Wild Berry was nice though and so was their Matcha Green Tea Frappe.

Overall, its no wonder that Coffee Project is a family favorite. Apart from the amazing interiors, the food they serve are generally tasty and reasonably priced. Im at two heads though about their summer drinks. Perhaps more fruity drinks using fruits endemic to the country? Hey its watermelon and mango season. Just a suggestion :)

But that's just me. Why dont you check them out for yourselves and let me know how it turns out for you.

COFFEE PROJECT is located at Mosaic Tower Aguirre Street Legaspi Village Makati
