WANGFU VERTIS NORTH

Privileged to join a lunch get-together yesterday organized by Mommy blogger friend Cris Ibanez and Ed of @gomanila.

Some of the moms are virtual friends from IG so it was amazingly fun to finally match the pretty faces behind their handles.

The mood was joyous and excited . Kind of a group blind date if you will haha. It felt like a sorority bonding activity to be honest. When the food started landing on the table, our foodie selves took over and everyone became deathly quiet concentrating on their flatlay and best shots.

Here are the food we enjoyed coming after the initial photo buffet haha

Amazing the technique used in sauteeing the French Beans in pork. The vegetable looked green but soggy. When you bite into it though there is that crispness only possible from a  fresh veggie

Note Wangfu's Hakaw are served in 4's. Having said that the dim sum was plump. Its skin thin. The filling packed with solid shrimps. No extenders there

Wangfu's Prawns in cereal were a delight to munch. Prawns were succulent and flavorful. Do not forget to eat yours with that surprisingly delicious cereal. You can eat with prawns or mix with rice or noodles to elevate flavor.

This Peanut Satay Noodles are a must try. Just one mouthful and Im hooked. Servers swear there was no curry. Just Singaporean Peanut  mixture and a secret ingredient

Lychee in lieu of the usual pineapple in Sweet and Sour Pork? Why not? The Lychee flavors give a whole new dimension in flavor and texture to the whole dish.

Wangfu's Yangchow had both carbs and protein, you can consider this an all in one meal. Yum!

Overall,  a delightful lunch spent with new  foodie friends. What a joy to discover new meals to enjoy together. Thank you for having us Wangfu  and @gomanila and for the invite @crisibanez
