I confess. I am a Soban K-Town Grill fan. I simply love this home grown brand with its quality protein choices. 
So when I heard they were opening at Megamall, I was overjoyed. Owned by 3 lovely and soft spoken young ladies Diana Tan-David, Donna Tan-Ng and Dorothy Tan-Dee, I was looking forward to enjoying the high quality meat and the exceptional service with a smile which the Happy Food Group is known for. 
VIP Preview last Saturday April 6 at Soban’s newest branch in SM Megamall.
Located at the third level just across Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, this 7th branch of Soban K-Town sports an industrial cum warm wood vibe that is a common theme among all branches of the restaurant.
The vibe was neat and pristine which I really like. Everything was within reach in your table ie scissors, tongs , napkins, condiments etc. If however you like someone to do the cooking for you, the servers are more than willing to do it with a happy mien.

This budget-and-quality-conscious-mom-of-four is pretty happy with Soban K- Town Grill. I have eaten in 4 of the 7 branches so far including this new one at Megamall and what stood out for me are the choicest quality cuts of the meat here and the outstanding service of their people. Yes there are a lot of Korean BBQ restaurants that offer unlimited options out there. But check out their protein options and compare with Soban and you will realize a world of difference in the meat selections. Check them out and let me know how it turns out for you.
