Mad Marks

Naturally, I highlighted Mad Mark's home-made ice cream which is what they are known for  and a well justified reputation if I may add.

I can not make up my mind between their Sumatra Arabica and Caramel variant.

What was surprising though was how great their savory items are too based on the price to portion to quality ratio

We ordered the following :

CREOLE GRILLED CHICKEN P215

Loved how juicy and tender their grilled chicken fillet was. I generally dont  like chicken breast because they turn out with an unappetizing dryness regardless of method of cooking. Mad Mark's version was spot on with their grilled chicken. Moist and succulent, I can have that chicken everyday

SIGNATURE STEAK P285

Bunso had his steak done medium rare but had to return it because obviously the middle part was clearly raw. Looks like their steaks are frozen and thawed before grilling.

JOHNNIE DOUBLE BLACK RIBS P265

Half slab baby back ribs  two sides

Really not used to ribs priced this much but portioned that much (see above pic) and tasted amazing too judging from son no 2's wiped out plate.

Freshly Squeezed Lemonade L P79

Your eyes will grow large as well with delightful surprise when you see that humongous glass of delicious cold lemonade with that price

Overall...

For an average of P400 per person with drinks and an order each of double scoop ice cream, I say Mad Mark's is value for money.

Piggery agrees the family will be regular patrons from hereon not only for Mad Mark's ice cream which we have been a fans of from the beginning, but for their savory items as well
