We had to go to Megamall today on an errand. We made it a point to be there before the Mall opened. Alas, there was already a long queue on the parking by the time we got there. The bad news was the line was not moving at all at least for more than 30 minutes.
We found out a few minutes later that apparently their parking ticket machine was out of order and they can not do it manually , does the hold up.
A pity, because this just adds up to handsome hubby's list of the reasons why he does not like to go to SM Megamall.
Oh well, we made it inside the mall after that bad start. Immediately proceeded to Ippudo for lunch led by the piggery. They had not had any breakfast yet so everyone was famished.
We ordered the following :
The rich broth and its spiciness, tender and flavorful chasiu, onsen tamago are my favorites in this ramen
Although I loved that it cuts through the richness of the broth and gives the whole dish a somewhat new facet which I relished, not everyone likes cilantro.
I like them though.
Quite an elegant and instagrammable dish. Different layers of flavor as well as texture. That combination of Mentaiko mayo , fish roe and salmon was sublime! I think I can finish a whole plate of this all by myself hahaha
Overall, a pleasurable gastronomic adventure that the family really loved and enjoyed. Ippudo is consistently good.
