Yes seems like Max's is taking the New Year to heart with the introduction of new dishes that veers away from the more famous protein this restaurant is known for.
Adobo Ribs anyone?
How about Beef Salpicao?
So not Max's right ? But just the right touch of adventurism considering the start of 2019.
So this is my 3rd Foodie Meet Up for the year and a surprise one at that. I love that Max's is taking the initiative to explore other dishes that loyal Max's fans may love.
Beef Salpicao P499
Adobo Ribs with Sizzling Tofu or Pancit Canton
large plain rice, 3 glasses of iced tea, 3 dessert-sized
servings of buko pandan P899
If you are feeling the winds of change and would like to explore new dishes in Max's, then you are in for a treat.
Try Max's Beef Salpicao for only P499. Share with family and friends. Enjoy cubes of sirloin stir-fried in fat with loads of garlic then garnished with chicharo. This is Max's own take of the original Spanish dish which uses cubes of beef tenderloin.
You can also order the ala carte meal served in a bowl with ricefor only P249
Adobo Ribs with Sizzling Tofu or Pancit Canton
large plain rice, 3 glasses of iced tea, 3 dessert-sized
servings of buko pandan P899
I have a mind to replicate the adobo ribs at home. A fresh take on my usual adobo is always a winner. Max's Adobo ribs are fall off the bone and succulent. It pairs well with pancit canton or sizzling tofu. Two types of viand, rice, iced tea , dessert for P300 per head is not a bad deal at all.
If you feel though that the above group meal is too much for you, you can just order the adobo ribs ala carte meal
Overall...
It is quite refreshing to taste something new from Max's. Appreciate the effort in exploring out of the box ideas for the 2019 menu.
The classic best sellers are still there . You can pair Max's famous chicken with adobo ribs or beef salpicao.
Try them now. These new dishes are on a limited basis only.
Max's is located at the ground floor Glorietta 3 in Makati alongside Tim Ho Wan.
