It was a fun Draftoberfest Tuesday last week when I hied off to Draft Restaurant & Brewery in Power Plant mall Rockwell for some Oktoberfest celebration, the Draft-way.
It was my first time in Draft by the way and what a great way to get to know Draft via Draftoberfest!

It almost felt like Paulaner beer was thrust into my hand almost as soon as my posterior landed on the chair . That was one huge and heavy Paulaner-filled 1 liter mug. Seriously, it looked like a pitcher. Not really a beer drinker, I was at a loss what to do with my drink when everyone has one. Oh well, when in Rome....haha.
Surprisingly, I found myself liking Paulaner.... a lot. It was light on the palate and kind of 'refreshing'. Or was I just thirsty? haha
At any rate after my nth gulp, an epiphany.....ahh so that is why the husband love his beer.
There were several long tables inside Draft mimicking how it was celebrated in Munich Germany. Buntings of Paulaner beer abound giving the whole area a celebratory vibe. I knew the night was going to be a blast full of laughter , food , games and that delicious Paulaner beer.
Alas I arrived early and had to leave long before the festivities started. Good thing Draftoberfest will still be ongoing until October 31. Definitely returning with the husband and the piggery in tow.
