SORU IZAKAYA

I remember my first time in Soru Izakaya at their first branch in Sikatuna Village some months prior. The anime on the wall amazed but not as  much as the unique Maki Art , Soru Izakaya had become famous for.  I clearly recall  how I wished they would put up another branch somewhere in Makati or BGC

What do you know? 3 months ago, Soru Izakaya opened up their BGC branch in Burgos Circle  just beside UCC Clockwork . Early this afternoon, I experienced  Soru Izakaya's  colorful and gorgeous makis once more.

It is still pretty hard keeping track the  of names of each beautiful and delicious art presented. All I know was this foodie mom's palate enjoyed every morsel of  those colorful sushi.

The Burgos Circle branch itself was a bit different from its Sikatuna counterpart. This one had 2 stories while the pilot branch was just the ground floor in rectangular shape.  There were two bars. One on each floor.

Combination platter of selected aburi, shake, maguro, saba, horse mackerel and tako (1 pc each)  . I was able to taste the shaeke (salmon) and the octopus. Both were uniquely presented and quite tasty.

Overall..
Soru Izakaya BGC did not disappoint.  The maki art,  the delicious aburi, the tasty drinks, the amazing udon and poke bowls were as good as I remember them from my  Zomato foodie meet up experience some months prior.

Im pretty sure the piggery will be thrilled when I bring them here at Soru Izakaya. I cant wait to see their faces when they see then taste the Maki Art for the first time.
