Weekends are for family. It is our time to bond mostly over food that's why PiggingOutOnSundays was born.
A couple of Sundays back, we revisited Marugame. A cafeteria-style restaurant, it originated in Japan and is called Marugame Seimen in the land of the rising sun.
The ubiquitous queue greeted us and we followed suit. We did not have long to wait.
Here are the items we ordered :
TENDON P270
PORK PAITAN P220
TUNA OMUSUBI P40
EBI TEN P60 each
Chicken Karaage P60 each
CHICKEN PAITAN UDON P200
Overall, the food is delicious and relatively cheap - below P300. It is when one orders the side dishes that the cost per head goes up.
We have visited Marugame about 3x already and our bill averages about P400 per person because of the extra orders of side dishes.
