It is getting to be a chore being a foodie with the family.. Don't get me wrong, the family is very supportive of my passion. But when you are up against raging appetites and impatience , it is pretty hard to really get a good shot of the beautiful food we are eating. More often than not as soon as the plate lands on the table, it gets wiped out easily hahaha
Oh well must make do with whatever shots I can manage given my constraint
So Tim Ho Wan won last Sunday. Everyone was craving for the famous pork buns and some dimsum . I on the other hand want something green. This is what I love about Chinese cuisine. Wherever we go, stir fried vegetables still look fresh after being cooked in high degree of heat.
Obviously, I was not able to take photos of everything given the evil eye/s I was getting so here are some of the food we enjoyed
PORK BUNS 3 PCS P145
CHOW MIEN STIR FRIED NOODLES P130
POACHED FRESH GREEN WITH OYSTER SAUCE P180
TOFU WITH PORK FLOSS P130
PORK DUMPLING WITH SHRIMP P150
There were orders of spinach dumpling, hakaw , pork rib with black bean sauce and a lot more. We were a party of 12 adults and 1 little 2 year old girl.
Oh well you get the picture . Pun intended hahaha.
So how was our meal ?
If the silence plus the clean plates were any indication, then I can safely say the family loved the food at Tim Ho Wan once more.
Service ? Servers were really harassed and prone to missing some orders. But although obviously stressed out due to the fully booked resto, they were never brusque or abrasive. Some in fact even managed to smile every so often.
Price: Reasonable
Is a repeat visit in the horizon? Oh most definitely. After all no one can resist those delicious pork buns :)
