I was able to try 3 dishes of Open Table while on a Cross-Order foodie meet up during lunch at Valentines Day . We were seated at the 2nd floor though at another restaurant where all dishes from 6 participating restaurants were served. The cross order concept is simple. You choose a restaurant where you want to enjoy your meal. While there , you can order dishes from other restaurants within the "compound" (for want of a better term)
Open Table served us the following:
JERKED CHICKEN P245
Marinated boneless chicken leg quarter char grilled and served with sauteed rice, salsa and chimichurri.
Chicken was moist and flavorful. Rice was delicious.
Chimichurri and salsa paired well with the yummy chicken
HONEY TABASCO PORK BELLY P375
Pork belly simmered for 4 hours, glazed with honey tabasco with rice and
coleslaw and chargrilled. Served with coleslaw
CRISPY BACON SANDWICH P195
Battered bacon with honey mustard and coleslaw served on ciabatta bread
with a side of fries
Summary :
Overall food was good. I loved the fork-tender pork belly with the coleslaw. Jerked chicken was moist and flavorful. Ciabata sandwich was delicious as well. Price was reasonable.
My only issue here is that its too far from where I live. Clearly people from Quezon City are lucky to have Open Table within their vicinity
