"When Life Gets Complicated, I wine " so goes the motto of Little Winehaus.
I would not mind adopting that motto myself . Hey Im a vino-cheese lady more than a beer-pulutan one. That is not to say they do not serve beer in the premises. They do. They serve Stella Artois Draft beer. You can heave a sigh of relief beer-guzzling friends.
It was actually that motto which gave birth to Little Winehaus on Aug 2016. The owner Ms. Irene loves her grapes . LWH's wine listing has Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage, Malbec as well as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Rieling, Rose' , Prosecco and Moscato.
The restaurant is small and intimate and can sit 10 comfortably. They also have al fresco sitting if it gets full inside. The vibe is cozy with brick walls and barrels for tables
The whole "compound" for want of a better term houses 7 restaurants with owners who are friends or relatives. So you can sit in one of the restos and "cross-order" from any of the 7 , provided they are open of course.

I will be blogging about 5 of them soon. So watch out for that. Moving on....
Look at that caviar pie. It spoke and called my name. It looked elegant yet decadent. It was smaller than I imagined but it commands your attention.
Its actually a mixture of cream cheese some wine and a secret ingredient then topped off with caviar from Santi's. It pairs well with any wine you choose. Best of all it is only P295 per order and can feed 2-3 chichi friends and I say that good-naturedly
We were also served a plate of hungarian sausage P180 and Little Winehaus chips P90 with a bottle of Obikwa Chardonnay 2016 and Riesling.
In LWH, they only serve bottles of wine. No glasses.
"We dont serve wine per glass simply because we
believe a bottle should be consumed within
24 hours after opening"
- Irene (owner)
LWH wines go upwards of P395 per bottle and are sourced from vineyards all over ie Chile, Australia, South Africa, Argentina, Germany, Italy, etc.
Seriously when it comes to bar chows ( inelegantly put), LWH pulled out all the stops to make sure you have all you need to enhance your wine experience.
Think Italy. Think Spain. From Brie to gambas, from edamame to Wagyu Cubes , from jamon serrano to dulong, you can find them all in the menu from upwards of P155 per order.
