Yes I admit it. I'm a breadaholic and a pastryholic. I can forego other carbs such as rice or pasta . But my will just crumble into pieces if I smell a whiff of freshly baked bread or pastries. Yep will, discipline,determination.... out the window.
This is me indulging. This is me in my happy place.
Bake My Day is not just a bakeshop. It is a glorious one with Pastry Chef Gregorio Tumpalan at the helm. Yes the same one who baked the pastries you enjoyed at Ucc, Yamato, Jipan and was trained at Fujimura in Tokyo Japan is now in BMD.
The best part about Bake My Day? World- class pastries at affordable prices. We are talking about upwards of P58

Senator Villar's favorite Sweet Potato Cake P60 |
SUMMARY :
Clearly Chef Gregorio Tumpalan's strength is in puff pastries. His cronuts, cruffins , danish and croissant are to die for. Chef Dominique Ansel the progenitor of the notable Cronut, will be proud.
The white chocolate and macha frosting of the cruffins are divine and they only cost P120 each.
Chef G's savory offering ie okonomiyaki and sushi rolls are delicious as well.
Do not forget to order Senator Villar's favorite - sweet potato cake P60. It is simple but scrumptious almost like the ones your lola used to make.
My least favorite among the selection would be their red velvet cake. Do not get me wrong. It was moist and good. However it simply pales in comparison to all the other scrumptious treats in BMD.
Overall this foodie is one happy camper and wouldnt mind braving the traffic just to get her pastry-fix at BMD.
