Recovery Food

It was my first time in Recovery Food . I have been hearing a lot of good things about this restaurant though and was looking forward to finally experiencing their food. Fortunately together with other foodies , I was invited to attend their 5th anniversary.

We had a lot of fun meeting Tita Annie of Mamou fame and Ms. Malou owner of RF. Such gracious and warm individuals, we immediately felt welcomed the moment we came in.

We enjoyed the following dishes RF is known for :

Tapa de morning regular P180 full recovery P260
That home made tapa had the right sweetness. Quite delicious !

Champo Sandro

That dark chocolate porridge was a winner. Matched with tuyo, it was the perfect blend of sweet and savory

Happy Beef Rice P160 regular P290 Full recovery

Beef was tender. Loved the sweet sauce.

Barcia's strips P125
thinly sliced strips of pork . Think bacon but a little less salty almost bland but quite perfect when dunk in vinegar or that yummy Champo Sandro

SST - spicy sweet tuyo with egg and fried rice regular P180 Full Recovery P290

perfect balance of sweet and spicy. This is my all time favorite

Pinatunay regular P155 full recovery P235 -
Loved that spicy tuna with egg and rice.

Ambiance : no-nonsense industrial vibe with red and white theme

Service : attentive and cheerful despite a jampacked house

Food : Delicious and filling. Pinoy comfort food at its best

Price : Reasonable despite its location

Others : Open 24 hours

Verdict :
Definitely coming back with the piggery
